Relativistic effects

The simplest treatments of cosmological perturbation theory is restricted to the sub-horizon regime where relativistic effects are subdominant. On larger scales this is not the case anymore, and beyond leading order on sub-horizon scales too. Relativistic effects could unravel unexpected properties of dark energy in the future.
